Roxy and Sean Sewell met through mutual friends in Atlanta, GA over a decade ago. They became part of the same “friend group” and soon found that they had much in common. The two became best friends and because they both shared a love of travel; they became travel buddies. Roxy and Sean first ventured to NYC together in 2015 to ring in the new year. They enjoyed traveling together so much that soon after they took a trip to Thailand!
Their friendship eventually blossomed into something more and as their adventures grew, so did their love for one another. It seemed fitting that several years after their first trip to New York that it would be there that Sean got down on one knee and proposed to Roxy.
Fueled by their love of travel, the one thing that the couple agreed on right away was that they wanted a destination wedding. However, there was one small problem. Roxy wanted a garden wedding and Sean preferred a beach ceremony.
The couple had fallen in love with the 30A area on a previous visit and searched venues all over the area before realizing that they had found the PERFECT location at Monet Monet. Being art lovers, the venue fit all of their needs: a beautiful garden in which to have the ceremony, gorgeous grounds filled with art and the beach close by.
It was there at Monet Monet on June 8th, 2019 that the couple said “I Do” in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by friends and family. Roxy and Sean agreed that the entire day was perfect. With delicious food served up from Grayton Beach Catering, music provided by DJ Vladi, flowers from Blooming Buds 30A and photography by Shelly Swanger Photography the day was full from beginning to end with singing, dancing, laughter and most importantly love!
After the reception the couple was treated to a sparkler exit and from there, they began a monthlong honeymoon to Spain and Morocco before settling into to married life together back home in Atlanta.
